St. Botolph Emerging Artist Award

This past winter I was nominated for a St. Botolph Club Foundation 2015 Emerging Artist Award by Paul C. Ha, Director of the MIT List Visual Arts Center. Recently I received notification that the foundation and its panel of judges selected me for the grant.

The Foundation, "seeks to identify promising artist to whom it can “make a difference” through the combination of financial support, recognition, and endorsement...The Foundation supports well-defined endeavors such as finishing a commissioned score, preparing works for an exhibition, traveling for arts research, completing a piece of writing, or purchases of instruments, tools or supplies."

In my case, the grant money will be used for travel and equipment for an upcoming project. I'm in great company and truly honored. Thanks to all involved for the support.
